repainting the guesthouse

I woke up yesterday not loving the "new" color

my dad and i decided to repaint it

It took lots of work

but i am really happy with the results

i slept much better last night with the new color

What do you think of the new color? I think it looks even better in real life than on my computer screen.

Looks super great Jamie. Picking paint is so hard huh?! I'm notorious for painting and then repainting. I think I have a bathroom that has at least 4 coats of different colors! I've got the itch to paint my kitchen. I proposed my idea to Sean this morning and he just shook his head. But I'm the type to paint while he's gone and then he comes home and doesn't even notice :)! Secretly though, I think he appreciates it because then he doesn't have to do any of the work!

ha ha, i'm laughing out loud. It makes me feel better that you go through the same things with painting. I tend to pride myself on decorating so I feel like I messed up(failed in a sence)when I picked out the wrong color the first time. I think the whole process is what makes us get better and better at things and it's the end result that really counts. My Dad must a shook his head about 20 times at all my questions and worries over the whole thing. If you do end up painting the kitchen...I can't wait to see it!!!

Thanks so much Cherie!! It means so much to me to have you praying for me. I am doing good but I do think that today was one of those days where I needed an extra helping of prayer. I am so grateful to have you in my corner!:)

Don't you just love new projects?:) I can't wait to paint my bedroom and bathroom next.

I just had to say really quick that Stella really enjoyed the painting the roses red song ;) She totally was remembering the movie, saying when different stuff was happening...funny!

Kirra- thanks so much. I commented on your blog the other day but for some reason it didnt save. I think I will comment again though. I just love your new brown jacket.

Sara- Please tell Stella that Alice in Wonderland is my favorite Disney movie!!! And, I did the exact same thing she did while the music was playing. Ask her if she just loves Alice's sweet, soft voice like I do.

Paul- Thanks so much
